Outline programme for the year in community:
| 25th August 2019 | Convene in Taizé, France for an initial orientation week |
| 1st-2nd September | Travel together to Halton, to the Lunesdale Community house |
| 21st December – 5th January 2020 | Christmas recess (stay or travel as desired) |
| 4th -19th April | Easter recess (stay or travel as desired) |
| 18th July 2020 | Summer period begins |
| 23rd August 2020 | Possibility to return to Taizé for next year’s orientation |
In order to dedicate ourselves to our commitments in community, we try to keep personal travel to the recess and summer periods. The pattern of community life continues during those times for those remaining in Halton.
If you are planing to follow the internship track, please don’t make any specific plans for the breaks until this has been discussed with your placement organisation. If you are on placement in a church, and depending on the nature of your project, Christmas and Easter may be particularly busy periods, requiring you to take any time away at alternative times.
